The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced a major update to its tax payment system, effective from July 1, 2025. Taxpayers will be required to pay taxes, insurance contributions, and non-tax revenues administrated by tax authorities exclusively via payment codes or QR codes at bank cash desks.
To facilitate this transition, taxpayers can independently generate a payment code or QR code through the Taxpayer Cabinet on the official website cabinet.salyk.kg under the “Tax Payment” section, or via the mobile application “Salyk.kg”. Additionally, payment codes will be available at territorial tax authorities’ “one-stop service” windows.
This new procedure aims to simplify tax payment processes, enable automatic online budget crediting, and provide more favorable conditions for taxpayers. Key benefits of the system include:
- Instantaneous crediting of paid amounts to the state budget;
- Elimination of errors caused by manual entry of payment details at bank cash desks;
- Improved service speed and quality by reducing queues and saving taxpayers’ time.
The State Tax Service expects that these changes will increase efficiency, accuracy, and taxpayer satisfaction, aligning Kyrgyzstan’s fiscal administration with modern digital payment standards.
